About the Book:

This book is a literary medley created out of the innumerable experiences of the author, experiences that had a lasting impact on Dr. Phukan. A delightful collection of events and characters strewn over locales both nearer home in Assam, or a city in the south and beyond the seas in the English isles.

About the Author:

An university gold medallist from Gauhati University, Dr. Deepika Phukan, she worked in the Lady Keane College in Shillong before going to the United Kingdom, where she worked in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic High School in Scotland during her stay. On returning, she joined the St. Mary’s College in Shillong as Lecturer and Head of the Department of Education. She was awarded a Ph.D in 1981 from the Gauhati University.
