About the Author:

 

Soumyadeep Datta is a prominent figure working towards the protection of wildlife and environment in Assam. The ‘Nature’s Beckon’, of which he is the founder director, has also earned reputation dealing with issues relating to environmental protection in the northeastern India. A widely-travelled person, Mr. Soumyadeep Datta has written extensively on environmental issues and travel. His numerous published works comprise mostly on wildlife and nature and also authored a few travelogues about the exotic destinations he has travelled to.

 

About the Translator:

 

A post-graduate in English from the University of Pune, Hemchandra Dutta is a journalist based in Guwahati. Dutta has five translated books to his credit, the first translated English work being: Man Anywhere is A man, published by Sunbun. Dutta also writes for several leading dailies and socio-literary journals of Guwahati.
