50 years have passed since the Chinese aggression of 1962, which was one of the worst events in the history of post independence era of India. But unfortunately, the Govertment of India has still not learnt its lessons and the pace of development in the Indian side of the International border is much slower than in China. The book aims to highlight the areas where India is still lagging behind China to face any eventuality in future with the experiences that the writer gathered  during his visit to the China border areas and also with the views of prominent security analysts and Army officers who have served in the area to gather knowledge about the needs of the country to face any eventuality.

About the Author:               

Ramanuj Dutta Choudhury has been working as a journalist since 1989 when he was a student. Presently he is working as the Chief of News Bureau of The Assam Tribune. He has visited the Kameng sector of the McMahon line, the border with China a few times along with the Indian Army personnel, which gave him a bit of knowledge about the ground situation.
